In my own words
I'm Terry Pernell, a solo travel creator documenting what happens when I move beyond landmarks and enter the everyday lives of the people I meet. My work focuses on cultural understanding, honest interaction, and the moments that change how I see a place — and myself.
I create immersive first-person stories that place the viewer inside the experience. The destination matters, but the people, uncertainty, hospitality, struggle, humor, and connection are what make the story stay with us.
I've traveled internationally since January 2022 and around Asia since July 2025. Every new place is another chance to listen before I decide what its story should be.
